Aryaka SD-WAN Joins Azure App Gallery, Pens Energy Deal
Aryaka’s MyAryaka cloud portal is now available in the Microsoft Azure Active Directory Application Gallery as part of an integration announced this week.
Aryaka’s MyAryaka cloud portal is now available in the Microsoft Azure Active Directory Application Gallery as part of an integration announced this week.
“With the evolution of managed SD-WAN from early adopters to the mainstream, users are looking for the most frictionless experience to access their data and applications in the cloud,” said Armin Rishi, director of technology partnerships at Aryaka, in a statement. “Our integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory reaffirms our cloud-first approach to WAN transformation.”
One of the key advantages highlighted by Aryaka in this integration is single sign-on for applications. This enables customers to access multiple applications and platforms offered by Aryaka using a single set of credentials. Customers will also be able to access their MyAryaka portals using their Azure Active Directory credentials as well.
According to Alex Simons, corporate VP of program management at Microsoft, Aryaka’s inclusion in the Azure Active Directory will help to drive adoption of new services and applications across Azure. “We are pleased to see the work that Aryaka is doing with Azure in support of our customers,” he said in a statement.
This is far from Aryaka’s first integration with Azure. The company was an early partner in the Azure Networking Managed Service Provider program and offers integration with Azure ExpressRoute to software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications like Microsoft Office 365.
Fuel logistics company World Fuel Services said it selected Aryaka as its SD-WAN provider.
World Fuel Services distributes and sells aviation, marine, land fuel, and related products to more than 8,000 locations and more than 200 countries and territories around the globe.
“When evaluating vendors for this project, we wanted to see cost efficiencies, last mile management, low latency access to multiple cloud services, and the ability to accommodate all of our diverse global locations,” said Richard Delisser, VP of global infrastructure at World Fuel Services. “What’s more, Aryaka was the only vendor who met all of our technical requirements, while also being a strong cultural fit.”
The project was completed with the help of Aryaka’s U.S. partner Pluto Cloud Services, which coordinated the deal.
The company’s latest integrations come just weeks after it restructured its product line breaking out its SD-WAN platform into a range of smart services.
According to David Ginsburg, VP of product and solutions marketing at Aryaka, the move was made in an effort to give customers greater flexibility.
The moves also addressed many of the concerns leveled at the company in Gartner’s latest Magic Quadrant WAN Edge report, which ranked Aryaka as a visionary SD-WAN vendor.
